The Train Journey

 -Works -

The book's introduction was written by art historian Prof. art Claudio Mazzenga, who has written several books on roman art in the 1900's and tat the moment is working on the connection between art and science and art and technology. In the the poetry field he began in 1995 taking part to the International Art Festival organized by the Viterbo University. His poems have been published on magazines and have been fit in works and installations of contemporary artists.

In these are mentioned, faced and developed topics of high ethical and moral value like: spirit, life, love, interpersonal relationships, foundations of every individual life. Topics that have made curious, interested and pushed human being to contemplate on important and essential questions since the dim and distant night. Nowadays, where certainties, self confidence and values are fading, the artist's work, beyond creating, means to push the reader to the contemplate on every day life aspects highlighting the negative ones, nevertheless, the positive. Turning over the page, beyond the feelings of bitterness, sadness, melancholy, irritation, pain, indignation, disdain and acridity, is revealed sweetness, pleasure, tenderness, fondness,  lovableness; sometimes irreality to escape daily problems but above all, a positive vision of  life, looking to the future, the young coming after us, to the sick and old who live their lives in a much more direct and immediate way as time knocks imperturbably at the door. To them and to all interested in the sense of life, in the most important and deep aspects of life. This particular work is for those who are willing to think, meditate, reflect, philosophize. This "book" is made of two parts: the firts is dedicated to writing with exemplified poetic thoughts; the second contains a series of Digital Art works. However, the writing is not didacti, it does explain the visual works. Each work has a story, a begining and an end; to the reader the possibility and pleasure to interpret the essence of what is read and seen.
